Resignation will not change science – Climategate will not go away

Phil Jones, the director of the group that distorted the numbers as told by the CRU emails, has decided to resign from his position. This is indeed due to the massive impact of the CRU emails, showing that exposing pseudo-science can make a world of difference. While this is a telling sign of victory, it must be said that no matter who resigns, Climategate is not going away. There has been such a large degree of numerical fabrication that it cannot be blamed on one individual. The resignation of Phil Jones simply shows that the men responsible wish to lay the blame on one or two of their henchmen. The Emails make it obvious that this is not a single occurrence, nor is it the trick of a single man.

While the massive cover-up begins, the mainstream media does not even cover the Climategate scandal. Instead, the mainstream media gossips over Tiger Woods. The mainstream media can pretend that Climategate never happened, but it has beckoned such a large response to the point that even Penn State is investigating it further. If the mainstream media continues to be silent on the issue of Climategate, it will only further show it’s potency. Even with the news media’s refusal to host the truth, the Internet has been the paragon of information in regards to Climatgate. With powerful people helping to proliferate the truth, such as Lord Christopher Monckton and Senator James Infoe, it is evident that this is an issue that cannot be ignored.

Opening up the story even further, Lord Monckton explained his ongoing attempts to disprove the global warming scandal. “With Professor Fred Singer, who founded the U.S. Satellite Weather Service, I have reported them to the UK’s Information Commissioner, with a request that he investigate their offenses and, if thought fit, prosecute.”

Now is the time to use the information that the public has obtained through climate change to put an end to Copenhagen.  By informing your friends, family, and even strangers of this extraordinary news, there can be real change. A perfect example is this man, who reached millions with only a few minutes of work. You can create genuine change now.
